Stacks of photo albums sit on the table next to the fireplace at Selcombe and capture the daily life of a summer place in Brookline, Vermont over the last one hundred years. Five generations have loved this 750-acre hill farm with its swimming hole, 1819 brick Cape and English-style barn. Each generation has pasted in photos and recorded a caption and dates in neat handwriting of visits to the farm. The photos change from black and white to color over time, but the stories remain the same. Below are a few images snapped sometime between 1928-1938.
