LandVest is pleased to welcome Dan Schummer, a certified general appraiser with a background in a wide variety of appraisal and consulting assignments across the Midwest.
He is located in St. Ignace, Michigan serving the Upper Midwest and beyond, frequently traveling to other regions for specialized projects.
His primary work consists of valuing land and resource-based assets including vacant recreational land, forestland, water frontage, conservation easements, residential properties, and “Yellow Book” assignments for private landowners, as well as government clients such as US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, Department of Interior, and regional Department of Natural Resource offices. Dan also has significant experience within the eminent domain, estate planning, and expert witness services.
