LandVest, the exclusive Cape Cod affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, has expanded the firm’s Cape Cod presence through the acquisition of Oyster Real Estate. The new LandVest team in Osterville will be led by LandVest veteran broker Stew Young and long-time Osterville local Zee Crocker. Oyster Real Estate founder Herb Pheeney will continue his brokerage work with LandVest. The new LandVest office will occupy the former Oyster Real Estate office at 829 Main Street in Osterville. This new Osterville office joins LandVest’s existing Woods Hole office in serving the Cape Cod market.
“With Herb and Zee joining LandVest, they can bring their extensive networks to the global reach of the LandVest-Christie’s network. We’re thrilled to be growing our Cape team that’s long been at the forefront of selling Cape Cod’s most exceptional properties for 53 years,” said Stew Young.
Herb Pheeney founded Oyster Real Estate in 1975. His unparalleled expertise, particularly inside Oyster Harbors, established Pheeney and his firm as a leader in distinctive properties on Cape Cod, whether waterfront, on the golf course, or in-town.
“LandVest and Oyster Real Estate are a natural fit to join forces. We are both independent brokerages that serve all segments of the market from first-time homebuyers to the top end of the residential market with a commitment to providing the highest quality of service to all clients,” said Pheeney. “I am pleased to offer our clients access to LandVest’s global network while continuing to provide the personalized level of service and attention we’ve been known for locally.”
For Zee Crocker, a life spent learning the ins and outs of Cape Cod and over 30 years as a managing director of financial firms has armed him with a full understanding of how to accomplish his clients’ real estate goals. He also leads the Barnstable Clear Water Coalition, which also aligns with work LandVest has done regionally for organizations like the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
“As a passionate environmental advocate and native Cape Codder, I have always admired LandVest’s work, particularly their dedication to land conservation and protecting clean water,” said Crocker. “Our shared knowledge, passion, and vision will make this new venture a success in our community.”
