Rhode Island
Terry Boyle, a luxury broker on Boston’s South Shore and RI says, “The Barrington Waterfront listing is a beautifully renovated home right on Smith’s cove, a peninsula between Narraganset Bay and the Warren River. It’s within walking distance to the beach, nearby the country club, home to one of Rhode Island’s top ranked school systems, and just 10 miles from Providence.”
Boston Suburbs, MA
Stanley Edwards, a member of our Metro West Team, had this to say about 65 Oxbow Road in Lincoln, MA, “Set on 2.87± acres, this updated contemporary residence is designed for an extended family or a home-based business with an attached fully-functional one bedroom apartment. It has six bedrooms including a ground floor guest suite and a basement level au pair suite, playroom, wine cellar, and plenty of storage and closet space. Located on a private site, the property abuts the Farrar Pond conservation land and trails with access to Farrar Pond and beyond. Plus, there is plenty of kid space, there is a rock climbing wall in the garage, a craft room in the basement, a large fenced in backyard with a heated in ground pool, and plenty of space to play. Based on size, location, and useability, this is a steal.”

South Coast, MA
Stewart Young, a broker who works throughout Cape Cod, the South Coast, and Boston’s Metro West, thinks that Salter’s Point Classic in South Dartmouth is a great deal, “This classic home is located in the private community of Salter’s Point at the entrance to Buzzards Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. It takes full advantage of the seaside location with a classic front porch, back patio, and a glassed enclosed sunroom. Salter’s Point community offers landscaped oceanfront grounds, community tennis courts, and a small golf course. Additionally, the community amenities include sandy beaches, a pier, a boat mooring field, and a club house.”

Vermont
Story Jenks, a Vermont based broker, has this to say about the Grassy Brook Farmstead:
“Grassy Brook Farmstead fits the bill of the classic Vermont property on good acreage at a great price. The white clapboard 1823 cape and an impressive 2-story bank barn are surrounded by expansive meadows, with a total of 110 acres. And being just north of Brattleboro it has good proximity to New York and Connecticut.”
Maine
Broker John Scribner, of Maine, on Skye Farm,
“Skye Farm in Waterford, Maine. Every time I visit this property it’s like a dream: the history, the architecture, the laid-back community. Summer time brings relaxing in the waterside cottage while the kids are jumping off the dock into McWain Pond, the doubles matches on the tennis court. Come winter, up in the 2-story barn for a challenge on the pool table and waxing the skis for a day at the slopes at nearby top-notch skiing. Truly a family compound.”
Karen N. Reiche on Cundy’s Point,
“Cundy’s Point in Harpswell, Maine. The seller purchased this property in 2007 and did some amazing improvements such as creating a home theater, an exercise room with a sauna, a billiard room and an additional bath for a bedroom suite. And did I mention the amazing views, waterfrontage and deepwater dock? If you want Maine oceanfront but not high taxes, Harpswell is the place to be!
