Cape Cod’s West Coast Takes It Easy

In the summer, thousands of tourists flock to Cape Cod to escape the hustle and bustle of daily city living, only to find that the Cape can be just as crowded.  Fortunately, the crowds are limited to the most well-known spots and there are many quieter, more relaxing areas.  The Boston Globe’s Travel section shone a spot light on Cape Cod’s west coast this past week.  This less traveled coast along Buzzards Bay is an amazing place to view a breathtaking beach sunset and explore the small villiages along the way.  Check out the article for great places to visit down the Cape’s west coast: http://www.bostonglobe.com/lifestyle/travel/2013/07/20/cape-cod-west-coast/KSHlUTAMFPJULJNlu39p8L/story.html

Cape Cod’s west coast is comprised of the towns of Falmouth and Bourne, which include many picturesque villages such as Pocasset, Cataumet, West Falmouth, Quissett and Woods Hole.  Above is the Woods Hole Passage with Buzzards Bay on the upper left and Vineyard and Nantucket Sounds on the upper right.
